The Safety and Security Committee at the College of Medicine was reconstituted under Administrative Decision No. (5/45) dated 25/02/1446H and is chaired by the Vice Dean for Development and Quality. The committee aims to strengthen the safety and security system within the College and ensure the readiness of its facilities in accordance with approved standards.

The committee is responsible for monitoring the readiness of safety and security systems and submitting periodic reports, developing and obtaining approval for safety and security manuals and procedures, identifying and following up safety-related needs, preparing and delivering safety training and emergency evacuation programs in coordination with relevant authorities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. It also contributes to implementing strategic plan initiatives and academic accreditation requirements related to safety and security, thereby ensuring a safe and sustainable educational environment.
