The College of Medicine Vice-Deanship for Development and Quality is interested and focuses on the continuous evaluation of all processes and activities within the College and its programs, through which the quality of these processes can be determined. This assessment covers all aspects of administrative, academic, research, community services, and other activities performed by the College throughout the year, allowing continuous monitoring of performance and correction of its course in cooperation with the college administration and departments.

Through the development and quality Unit, we seek to spread the culture of quality to ensure that the standards of the National Centre for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) are met; to ensure the quality of performance at the level of the program of medicine and surgery as an effort to contribute to achieving the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the College, and to achieve the leadership that the College of medicine aspires to; in an integrated and reliable manner.

In the College of medicine, we adopt quantitative and qualitative measurable performance indicators to evaluate how far we achieve our strategic objectives to determine to which extent we fulfill our mission, identify deficiencies, and develop operational plans for continuous improvement. Moreover, we choose benchmarks to compare our performance with other national colleges, which help assess the College's rank and quality of performance compared to other national colleges.
