Microbiology - College of Medicine
The microbiology and immunology (microorganisms and immunity) is considered one of the medical sciences that treats all kinds of microbes such as viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites along with the relationship between the host, parasite, immune responses and protection means through the human body against pathogenic microbes.
General Objective
The general objective of Microbiology and Immunology courses at health colleges is to provide students with a comprehensive and up-to-date guidance including the basic knowledge and laboratory skills in dealing with pathogenic microbes, through the adoption of a clear, attractive and easy method. Furthermore, the courses aim at preparing students to become Saudi qualified staff working efficiently in the future at health medical institutions.
Each course will be designed in a way to fulfill certain goals, according to each major at the Health Colleges.
