The Planning and Follow-Up Committee is one of the official committees of the Development and Quality Unit at the College of Medicine. It was established by Administrative Decision No. (18/46) dated 12/07/1446H and is chaired by the Vice Dean for Development and Quality. The committee plays a key role in supporting the college’s strategic and operational planning system through participating in the preparation and updating of executive and operational plans, monitoring their implementation, and preparing periodic performance reports.

The committee is also responsible for reviewing the plans and reports of the college’s units, departments, and academic programs to ensure their alignment with the approved annual college plan, and for providing the necessary feedback prior to approval. In addition, it provides technical support to different units in designing operational plans and preparing achievement reports. Through these responsibilities, the committee contributes to enhancing institutional performance and achieving the strategic objectives of the College, as well as implementing the directives issued by the Deanship of Development and Quality related to planning and follow-up activities.
