In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the noblest of prophets and messengers, our master and prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his companions.
To proceed, one of the most important specialties in the College of Medicine and a fundamental pillar of it is the specialty of pediatrics, especially since the segment of society that this specialty focuses on represents approximately 70% of the Saudi population. As is well known, pediatrics, like other medical specialties, includes various branches, among the most important of which are:
• Neonatology
• Pediatric Intensive Care
• Pediatric Immunology and Allergy
• Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition
• Pediatric Pulmonology
• Pediatric Cardiology
• Pediatric Hematology and Oncology
• Pediatric Genetic and Metabolic Disorders
• Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes
• Pediatric Nephrology
• Pediatric Neurology
At the Department of Pediatrics, our primary goal is to educate and train students on how to care for children in this age group with kindness and compassion. Moreover, it is essential to interact with the child’s parents with the highest level of professionalism.
We ask Allah to grant our dear students success and guidance, and that we may succeed in teaching them what benefits them. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad.
