E-learning and training Department

 

Introduction to the department :

The Department of E-Learning and Training is one of the departments of the administration of E-Learning and Distance Education. Annual reports through approved performance measurement indicators.

 

Department message:

Continuous development of the skills of faculty members and students using e-learning to achieve the vision and mission of the administration.

 

Department objectives:

The Department of E-Learning and Training aims to contribute to achieving the vision, mission and goals of the administration of E-Learning and Distance Education, in coordination with the colleges and deanships of the university to achieve the following goals:

  1. Continuous development of training programs.

  2. Developing the capabilities of faculty members to improve the quality of higher education outputs.

  3. Develop students' cognitive abilities and increase knowledge awareness of e-learning systems.

 

Department tasks:

  1. Determining the specialized training needs of employees of colleges and deanships including faculty members, coordinators and students.

  2. Preparing a plan to develop the skills of college employees, following up on its implementation and evaluating its effectiveness.

  3. Encouraging college employees to participate in attending courses, training programs and workshops.

  4. Cooperate with the internal departments and units in the administration to provide awareness and support programs necessary to achieve quality assurance strategies.

  5. Follow up on updating the deanship's website with regard to the unit.

 

Department policy:

The Training Unit seeks to adopt a training policy based on best practices and standards in the field of training for faculty members and students in spreading the culture of e-learning.
