Tasks

  1. Organizing workshops for new faculty members on how to evaluate tasks and student work at the beginning of each semester.
  2. Identifying and implementing training programs within the department to develop teaching, research, and technical skills.
  3. Reviewing and continuously restructuring the course files in terms of grade distribution, according to the department's plan for mid-term and final exam grades.
  4. Ensuring the readiness of the program and course files at the end of each semester.
  5. Supervising the preparation of a room within the department dedicated to academic evaluation and accreditation, equipped with complete program documentation, and designated for visits by evaluators during program evaluation periods.
  6. Preparing a semester report on the condition of the courses, including the availability of course reports and adherence to the templates provided by the National Accreditation Agency.
  7. Submitting all semester reports to the quality unit at the college.
  8. Ensuring and supervising the preparation of student exam models and answer sheets for the department’s courses.
  9. Ensuring the availability of all references and textbooks included in the course descriptions within the department.
  10. Supervising the department’s strategic plan and following up on its implementation.
  11. Implementing and monitoring academic evaluation and accreditation activities, suggesting developmental plans for the department.
  12. Discussing quality topics with specialized councils through the college council, adopting them, and implementing decisions related to them.
  13. Ensuring that student surveys are conducted to assess their benefit from the program during their years of study, the suitability of the courses for practical life, and their suggestions for improvement, while preparing the required statistical results.
  14. Identifying candidates for quality workshops, monitoring their attendance, and writing reports from trainees on the benefits of these workshops.
  15. Coordinating and communicating between the department’s sections (male and female) regarding all quality activities and reports submitted to the department chair and dean of the college.
  16. Providing all the academic accreditation requirements for both sections and organizing them.
  17. Submitting periodic reports to the department chair regarding the department’s status concerning academic accreditation.
  18. Informing the department council about matters related to academic accreditation.
  19. New tasks related to the unit.
